Reception of order
Our damage services are always available – our telephone service is on duty 24 hours a day. Our national response centre will receive orders and forward the information to regional centres.
Immediate response
Immediate response is of particular importance to prevent additional damage. Our experts will find out the type of damage and call out the appropriate equipment. Our professionals are in contact with the responsible authorities, the party causing the damage and the required interest groups.
Cleaning
Cleaning of the environment is initiated as soon as possible. Before cleaning, the party causing the damage or paying for the service submits a written cleaning order, after which the required equipment, labour and subcontractors are surveyed and dispatched. Cleaning operations include suction and washing, generating a vacuum, drying and disinfection.
Quality control
We arrange for quality control in co-operation with the appropriate companies and provide comprehensive reports for the authorities, the party causing the damage and the party ordering the service. We will carefully survey the required repairs with the help of analyses and various professionals.
Repair
Repair may include the removal of contaminated soil and the delivery of clean soil, for example. Damaged structures are repaired or dismantled.
Treatment of waste
Waste is stored, transported and processed as required by the situation in a cost-efficient manner, utilising L&T’s own waste treatment services.
Rebuilding
In the rebuilding stage, the site is restored to its state before the damage. The actions include repairs to facades, asphalt pavement and greenery, for example.
Reporting and invoicing
A comprehensive report of damage management is supplied to the party causing the damage, the payer and the authorities. The payer will receive a single invoice that facilitates the control of total costs.
