A durable, easy-to-use eco toilet
L&T® Ekomatic is a durable, easy-to-use eco toilet for the cottage. When installed and maintained correctly, it operates without odours, and the hinged insulating seat improves user comfort during cool seasons.
In practice, L&T® Ekomatic only requires litter material to operate. The best litter material is the peat-based L&T Bio-Life® that absorbs liquids, reduces odours and aerates the solid matter. Approximately 2.5 decilitres of litter material at each use is enough.
Liquids need not be separated
L&T® Ekomatic utilises the nutrient contents of urine as part of the composting process when it starts up. Liquids are only separated subsequently through a separate liquid connector.
L&T® Ekomatic’s tank capacity is sufficient for approximately 200 instances of use, after which the contents must be taken for post-composting with garden waste for two years.
