An odourless, easy-to-use composting toilet

Ekolet composting toilets convert toilet waste at the summer cottage into clean, light soil improvement material in a tidy, odourless and easy way.

For indoor or outdoor use

Both models have a large tank divided into four compartments, one of which is in use at each time. The capacity of each compartment is sufficient for four people spending approximately 90 days at the cottage, which means that the average time allowed for composting the waste before emptying the compartment is more than three years.

Ekolet toilets operate completely without any additives, post-composting or separation of liquids. In practice, liquids are filtered through the solid matter and a filter cloth to an evaporation space at the bottom of the tank, from which they will evaporate thanks to a patented air circulation system.

For an existing or a new building

Both models can be installed in an existing building provided that the base is solid and level. The installation of the indoor model (Ekolet VS) requires 1400 x 1400 mm of floor space and a height of 700 mm within the basement or intermediate floor.

The installation of the outdoor model (Ekolet VU) requires that the back wall of the building must be at least 1250 mm wide and that there must be 500 mm free space below the floor. A wooden toilet building delivered as unassembled components is also available.
