The L&T Thermal Composter is an excellent choice for composting all household biowaste year-round. Its stylish design looks just as great in the garden as it does in the waste container shelter.
Besides style, the L&T Thermal Composter has several functionalities that facilitate its use.
Its hinged filler cover is as wide as the entire upper section and it stays open by itself making it easy to add biowaste and mix the compost matter.
Efficient thermal insulation for one enables composting in colder conditions as well, and a thermometer makes it easy to monitor the functioning of the composter.
It is easy to remove composted matter through the large emptying hatch in the lower section. Above the hatch there is a guide plate that prevents uncomposted matter from falling in front of the hatch.
The L&T Thermal Composter has a patented (ref. no. FI201006196 A) ventilation system to ensure that the ventilation inside the composter functions properly and possible seepage fluid is removed.
When necessary, the composter capacity can be increased with a supplementary base that holds an additional 100 litres. With the supplementary base, the L&T Thermal Composter’s filling height is the same as in most waste containers.
